It tears me up. lolz great books do that me…..have me reading them over and over. You may not be Kresley Cole, but ur damn close….love ya n hurry with Kiera’s sun

  2. You are an amazing writer. Thank you for the “free” downloads. Kiera’s Moon had me spell bound. Stories that atttract my imagination and make me want to be apart of the story are the ones I love, and this one did just that. Specially when Kiera wouldn’t tell A’Ran what she heard Ne’Rin say when he was talking to his father, I was telling Kiera to tell him, tell him he needs to know; but alas she didn’t. The more you write, they get better and better. Thank you!

    • Thank you for your comments, Stacie, and you’re welcome for the free ebooks! I agree – my writing and storytelling is getting better with each book. It’s because of the awesome feedback I get from readers (and an editor who doesn’t mind my emo moments!) Ha! I wasn’t sure how Kiera’s Moon would go over, because it’s another experiment rather than my normal paranormal subgenre, but I’m happy you liked it! Lizzy :-)

  3. Cant wait to get out of work so I can read this tonight!!! I have loved all your other books and im sure this one will be no exception!!!

  4. Hi Lizzy, I stumbled on to the public bookcase web site and found your book “Katie’s Hellion” and I loved the story. Your character development is very good and really draw you into the storyline. I am eagerly awaiting the next installment “Katie’s Hope”, and have thoroughly enjoyed “Kiera’s Moon” while I am waiting. I understand you have also written several more books and I will have to try them. I do appreciate the free downloads of your books and hope this exposure not only helps to improve your confidence in your writing skills, but also establishes a fan base that will encourage publishers to get behind you so you can profit from your work. Best wishes.

    • Thank you so much, Gayle! :-) I’m glad you enjoyed Katie’s Hellion and Kiera’s Moon! Katie’s Hope will be out at the end of this month. Ad yes, the exposure and feedback I’ve been receiving have not only helped me realize I really can be a writer, but have helped my writing improve already over the course of the past few months when I started. And I absolutely adore the fan base I’m building – I’ve met such wonderful, supportive people along the way. Take care and thank you again! LIzzy :-)

  5. All I can say is WOW….am so loving your books! Very happy to have stumbled across them when I did. All of them are just amazing. You are a very gifted writer! Great job!

      • BTW…just thought I would mention this. Every time I read Evelyn calling Kiera “K K” I got a huge smile on my face. My dad called me that my whole life. Thanks for the wonderful memory flashbacks it gave! You are such an amazing and gifted writer…glad I found your work!

        • That’s so cool, K-K. :-) I try to make things seem as real as possible, and I think it’s thoughtful details that will keep a reader interested, because it makes the world seem so much more realistic when you can relate to it. Nicknames are an effective tool, Toby loving hot cocoa, things like that make a difference, I think!

    • It looks like it should be there next weekend. I missed the cut off this week for the eshipment from the distributor to Apple because of the review process they have in place! Should be next Sat/Sun!! :-)

      • I didn’t wait and read it on the less attractive Kindle app. I liked it, but wondered about what I perceived as lack of character development, etc. Then when it was on Ibooks, I noted that it was classified as ‘children’s fiction’. I suppose that explains the difference I perceived between this book and the Damian/Rhyn series.

        • Hi Rormonster! This one was written more with the YA audience in mind. I can market my others to YA so long as I keep the graphic sex out of them, but this one I actually tried to taylor a little more. I might’ve gone too far in simplifying the characters though … lol! Sorry it takes so long to get to ibooks! :-( Lizzy

  6. Yet another knock-out story, Lizzy. I was really impressed with this one- you never should have worried about branching out into sci-fi. I still think you could include *one* toned-down, mainstream-movie-type sex scene per book. The build up of sexual tension and subsequent let-down is perpetually frustrating! Grrrr… Oh well. *sigh*

I wanted to tell you that I also found myself literally sucked into the world you created here. I can’t wait for more of Kiera’s and A’Ran’s story, preferably with more focus on the planet itself and their people, this time? I guarantee that everyone is just dying for more details on beautiful Anshan and its people.

And one last thing, I was incredibly moved by the scene where A’Ran wanted the picture Kiera drew of them together. I wasn’t really fond of A’Ran before that point, he was just to cold and distant (with good reason, of course, but we don’t find *that* out till later). When he lost it at the sight of that sketch, I could actually *feel* the crack in his shell, and the few pages after where he woke up to his shortcomings was so tangible, so real- I teared up a little, whether in happiness or relief or sheer compassion for the poor guy, I don’t know. But I haven’t felt a depth of emotion like that for a character for a long time. That scene of the 7-foot-tall hardened warrior saying “This… I want this” just made my heart go pitter-patter. Gotta admit: Him… I want one of him. lol!

Thanks again for an amazing (if all too brief) escape to another reality. Please please PLEASE keep ‘em coming. Faster. >.>

    :D

    • Hi Krystyna! Haha – I forgot you mentioned the sex scenes in your first comment. So sorry … truth be told, I can market these as young adult books as long as there’s no sex, which has really expanded my audience! Lol … You’re the second person who mentioned tearing up at the end. :-) I loved the character of A’Ran. He was hard to balance. I wanted him cold and distant but not inhuman or untouchable. And I was really worried that my normal fans wouldn’t like Kiera, because she’s not as jaded as my other heroines. But I’ve gotten an awesome response from readers so far, so I’m really happy.

Ack! Write faster?! (sigh) If I didn’t have the full time job absorbing most of my day, I’d be happy to oblige! When I can fix that, I’ll do so! :-)

That’s a good idea about a follow-up with more about their planet. I might be able to do a novella early next year. We shall see … I’m totally taking January off, though, because I’ll go crazy if not! Ha!

      Lizzy :-)

      • But that’s why the “extended unrated edition” was created! Bring on the sex! x)

Ah, the pitfalls of having to market to a specific audience. *sigh* Oh well, they’re beautiful the way they are. Just… frustratingly ambiguous. lol

      • Oh! I almost forgot… “I was really worried that my normal fans wouldn’t like Kiera, because she’s not as jaded as my other heroines.” …Really?! The whole “I can’t take all this, I’m gonna fall apart, I’m not allowed to love you for the next like 80 pages!” theme is annoying to someone like me, who would give her left arm to be snatched away to another planet full of hunks, rescued from the depths of Hell by a sexy pseudo-demon, or sucked into a world of secret divine organizations (can’t have my right arm, I need that to write and draw and stuff >.>). By a few chapters in I find myself screaming at the girls to “man up” and accept their new (amazing) lives!

In light of this, Kiera was, quite frankly, incredibly refreshing, and I enjoyed seeing a woman who steeled herself and made the best of her situation quickly rather than sulking and drawing it out. For me at least, a little less jaded is very much to be preferred (I personally think it makes them seem ungrateful for something I would just *die* for, if it were real- and who says it’s not? Heh).

Aaanyway, I’m eagerly awaiting “Katie’s Hope.” It’s my 22nd birthday on Tuesday, so I’ll think of it as a late present to me. Haha ;)

Thanks again for the amazing stories!

        • Lmao – your comments always make me laugh! So sorry about the ambiguity in the sex scenes. The funny thing is that you can put almost anything but sex in YA books. I’ve seen some really disturbing themes in some of them that really surprised me. Not sure how or why the industry standard is the way it is!!

What you say makes total sense – Kiera was different. Lol @ wanting to switch places with one of them! I’m a terrible, terrible judge of which books will do well and why. I honestly thought K’s Hellion wouldn’t be well received, just like Kiera’s Moon, and I almost didn’t release either of them. But they’ve been the most popular. And my favorite has been Warlord’s Secret, followed by Maddy’s Oasis, and both of those TANKED compared to the first two!!! I guess I’ll leave the thinking up to my editor and just write from here on out. Haha!

          Thanks again for your comments!

    • Awesome, Sarah! I was worried my normal readers wouldn’t like this one as much, because it’s so different from the paranormals I do. Yay! Lizzy :-)

  7. Really great book, i loved reading it, once i started i couldn’t put it down. I really hope theres going to be more! Just started Damian’s Oracle and looking forward to reading that too!

    • Hi Emma! I’ve had a couple people ask about a follow-up to Kiera’s Moon. I may do a novella early next year. I really wasn’t sure how my readers would take it, since it’s different than my paranormal books. I’m also re-releasing Damian’s Oracle in early September. I didn’t have an editor when I released it this past Jan, so I’m giving it a makeover. Haha! Lizzy :-)

  8. Hi Lizzy,

I’ve read the Damian series books thus far and really enjoyed Kiera’s Moon. Looking forward to reading more of both. Thanks for sharing these as free downloads. I probably wouldn’t have found them if they hadn’t been featured on the free page.

    • Hi Melanie! Awesome, glad you’re enjoying them! People seem to find me by luck, but I’m glad I’m on so many free ebook websites (and some of them are free on Amazon, too.) It’s really helped me find readers! Katie’s Hellion is another free one you might like, if you liked Damian’s Oracle. I’m getting ready to release the sequel to Katie’s Hellion in two weeks, and I’m releasing a revised version of Damian’s Oracle in about three. More books coming! Lizzy :-)

  9. Hey Lizzy, I don’t know if you have one already or not, but I’m dubbin’ myself your #1 fan. I just love where your stories take me and how easily I can visualize the characters and the places. As you know, I’ve started a long list of possible cast members for each story. If you keep coming up with big, sexy, hunky heroes, I’m afraid we’ll run out of actors. =) lol.

I agree with some of the previous posts in that you’re writing skills are developing nicely and it is quite evident in this book. You have the gift of storytelling and I hope you reach your goal of doing this as more than a hobby or a part-time occurrence. Although that would mean we don’t get to read your stuff for free anymore.. lol. :)

    Looking forward to Katie’s Hope!
    G.

    • Hi Gabby! Haha – I have a few, um, number one fans! Hahaha! Before I forget – I thought of someone else I’d totally cast as the hero in probably every book (I kinda like him right now!) Jason Momoa! The new Conan! He hit my radar last week, and I thought – I gotta tell Gabby. Haha!

I’ve had lots of folks say the books read like movies, which is good, because that’s how I see them. It’s hindered my writing a bit, because the sudden changes in POV can throw folks and make for rough transitions, but I’ve been working on that! :-) Thank you – I can see my writing progress, too, and it’s awesome. Hopefully in about 12-18 months, I can become a full time writer. That does mean charging at some point, but I’m thinking of either providing free ebooks to mailing list members or doing a yearly subscription, where people pay, like 10/year, and get all the books I release that year. Gotta figure it out this fall!!

Thank you for your continued support! :-)
      Lizzy

  10. Finished this book this morning. LOVED it!! Lizzy you are too awesome!! It just sucks that the other books are coming out after school starts but im soo making time for them. I almost cried with this book!! I like Kiera, though Evelyn really started to piss me off at the end. I would have so opted for Kiera slapping her if she wasnt preggo lol. This was great thanks again and hurry up and write!!!! Lol
    :D

    • I forgot about school starting. Might be good for me, though, because then my readers won’t be demanding I write even faster! I’ll have time to catch up! Hahahaa! I loved Kiera as a character, maybe because I’m a bit of a good-natured, emo artistic type, too! The funny thing was that I didn’t think of making her an artist until the very end of my first round of editing, but everyone says when A’Ran saw the pic and said ‘I want this’ was the most powerful part of his character development. Evelyn was special … lmao! Lizzy

        • Haha – I like creating characters I don’t like in my books. I guess it’s kind of revenge on the people in life who are mean to me. Ha! :-) I’ve got one person in real life I’m going to write into a story and have an alien eat him. There are just some people … ha!

  12. hey Lizzy:) i just finished reading Keira’s Moon n just like all the rest of you books, this one made me read it all at once too:) once i started it, i didnt stop till i got to the end which was am-azing:D its just so wonderful as to how u write so much in such a short time i mean, like u said, 12 books in a year half of which you have already written i mean the world has come across so many authors but i dont think it has known one who works in a way you do, so devotedly:) i mean i know how hard and pain-staking it was for Darwin to write ‘On The Origin Of Species’ but i dont really think that even he did all the writing work and all like u do. I hope u achieve more than you deserve:) Keep writing n ooh cant wait for Katie’s Hope to be out too:) tc.

    • Thanks, Hareem! :-) The bad news is I won’t make all 12 books this year, but I think the 9-10 I do get out is still pretty good. :-) I’m so glad you’re enjoying them. I am pretty different from a lot of other writers, and I kind of get ostracized for it sometimes. But I’m happy with what I’m doing, and I’m doing my best! :-) Lol about Darwin – I imagine his book took much more than a wacky imagination and a writing compulsion to write!! That’s all I have – no sciencey bone in my body! Ha! :-) Lizzy

      • yeah getting out those much of books is a pretty amazing thing to do, i think. n i cant wait for tomorrow cos book 2 in Rhyn trilogy series is gonna be out but i guess i’d have to wait some more for it to be available on d net…oh n i think who ever doesnt appreciate your work cos of your being different, then i guess that person is a complete jerk cos its a little difference is good in life, the all-to-usual stuff just gets us off-mind sometimes…n yes, i agree about Darwin’s wacky imagination thingy cos i mean, couldnt he just appreciate the way things r in nature instead of questioning them like why a bird dies n is decayed n its remains r digested by earthworms?[lol, read it in one of his articles about his book] anyways, im kinda a science-person but i understand, its not a thing for everyone:P n once again, i CANT wait to read the second book of Rhyn trilogy:D:D so excited!!! tc:)

        • Alas, I will have to disappoint everyone this weekend! :-( :-( We’re moving to a new state, so Katie’s Hope won’t be out until next weekend. We’re driving to Tucson today/tomorrow then have to wait until sometime next week to have our internet turned on. I can email/comment/facebook/tweet from my phone but not upload books. Haha! And thanks – I’m a different person, and I think some people just don’t know how to handle the unusual. Haha … It’s ok, though, because I’ve been different my whole life, so I’m getting used to it. Hahahahaha! Take care! LIzzy :-)

          • oh maaaaan really?!?!?! but its ok i mean where ive waited so long, its not biggy if i wait a weekend or so n i understand how busy ull be n wont be able to post d book online…n yes,ur right, some ppl go utterly clueless when they face a totally outcome or other situation which they cant handle so thats why i consider being good a different thing cos to be honest, i always get others on my head telling me to do what others are doing or to be like those around me and stuff like that when all im like is as different as black n white:P so i totally understand your being so…infact my eldest sister once told me that i think being out of the ordinary is good but its not always the way we want it to be and all n that i shouldn’t be ‘unusual’ unlike others but everyone has different ways to lead their lives and i think that whatever comes in their ways, the ones to handle it the most perfectly are the bunch of ppl out there that are ‘different’!:) cheers to those:D

          • You’re totally right – being different helps you see the parts of life that others can’t. Innovators, scientists, artists – they have a different view of the world, and our world is a better place because of it! I always tell people that I see the world from the inside out, especially people. I don’t know how mechanical stuff works, but I like knowing how people work! Ha! I think the people who do best in life are those who can think for themselves, adjust quickly, and learn fast. My hubby is an awesome example of that, and I admire him for it! So cheers to being different!

  13. Dear Ms. Ford
As a struggling writer I appreciate all the hard work and effort and time that one puts into such a project as this. My heartfelt congratulations and best wishes. May you publish many more.
I started reading the book but stopped in just a few pages. The reason why couldn’t read on was simply because I realised that the protagonist would be forced into a marriage not of her choice. I know since it’s a book it will all work out for ” her own good” eventually and she will actually be thanking all those who forced her. But my dear lady real life in my part of the world has taught me that it is not so.
A good many women in this world are raised to believe that men know better. That they have the right to order the lives of women the way you would cattle. (actually it’s not acceptable even for cattle but let’s leave it for some other day)
These women are forced to marry someone they hardly know or like. And most never get around to being loved for who they are. They merely become part of the husbands property. This “tradition” strips the women of self respect and confidence. Two things that someone like you must surely know and value. Imagine a 18 year old who is just setting out to spread her wings. What hopes she has and as a typical teen what mixture of confidence and self doubt she faces. And imagine when she is told that she is not capable of making any decision for herself. That she has no rights not even the right to determine what she needs. No right to her own body which will go to the man who covets it and can convince her father and brother NOT HER. That day her confidence, her self respect, her individuality all dies.
You right wonderfully. May God bless your pen with many stories. I hope whatever you write as an independent, self respecting woman who has every right to express her individuality, is loved by many.
Regret that I wont be able to read your book further.
Forgive me for treating this work not asa piece of fiction written entertainment. I know it is not a socio piece.

    • Hello! I am sorry that Kiera’s Moon bothered you to this extent. :-( It wasn’t at all meant as a social commentary on the serious topic you presented. I know how dark the world is – my writing is my escape from that darkness, and I don’t want anyone to take my writing as more than entertainment. I wrote a blog post about my target audience, and in the post, I basically wrote about women like me, who have been through awful things in life but still have the power to hope, dream, and strive to change their worlds for the better. I hear tales from a lot of people whose lives have been anything but easy, and it makes me happy to know that they find some sort of escape or entertainment in my books. I understand and appreciate your comments, and am very sorry if I have offended you. Lizzy

  14. Ms Lizzy,
After finishing Kiera’s Moon I realized what i think you were doing with your writing. Your showing people that just because bad things happen to you doesn’t nessasaraly mean nothing good will ever happen again. That something good can come out of almost every situation. I myself was raped when i was sixteen and got pregnant. Now at twenty I have a beautiful four year old daughter that is my pride and joy and i wouldn’t do anything to change that. It makes me think about the way Kiera was kidnapped but ended up finding true love. No matter how hard it rains or for how long there will always be a rainbow to lighten your day. Thank you so much for all your books and I hope you continue to write such great books.

    • Hi Katy – Thanks for sharing your painful story. I am sorry about what happened but I’m thrilled about your daughter! I don’t always think life has happy endings, but I know if I lose my hope, there won’t be anymore happy endings. In one of my poems, I wrote something about how, as bad as the storm is, the sun’s always shining on the other side of the clouds. Sometimes, it’s hard to remember that, and I’m glad you took such a message from K’s Moon. These kinds of comments are why I share my writing with the world, and I’m inspired by others who have been through bad things but found their rainbows. Thank you so much for your comments. :-) Lizzy

  15. All I want to say is I need more! I’ve successfully read everything of yours I can get my hands on in the last 5 days. I just finished the last one and I am anxiously waiting Sept 2. My eyes are killing me and i have less than 4 hours before I have to be up, but keep it up I look forward to devouring every book you write.

    • Thanks, Bethany! So sorry to keep you up! Hahaha! At least you had a short break before tomorrow, when Katie’s Hope will be out!! Don’t worry – I’ve got a ton of books left to write! Lizzy :-)

  16. Yes and because scientists or artists n ppl like that dont see stuff from the common-ordinary perspective in which we do, we just say stupid stuff about them and their works just because we dont view certain things the way they do and we dont know how things work, or, as you said, people:P ive written some poems on the topic too:) n yes, the only ppl who do best in life are those who understand themselves and their place in this twisted world, in fact, they are the true successful ones. Oh n congratulations on your moving into the new place and all…good luck with everything else that comes your way:D cant wait for the book to be out of the Rhyn trilogy series….not for me but it will be a present for my mom as its her b’day on sep. 2:D yay! tc:)

  17. And u sure made it out for d occasion but to be honest, ive STILL not read K’s Hope although ive been waiting for it since what felt like a lifetime:p but the thing is, im in some other city for a week for some passport work n all n the only thing im reallyyyyy looking forward to is the that 7th cos den ill be back home n read d book straight away:) i cant even seem to have ANY fun here where i am despite all the pretty things here as the book n the time ill read it is all that is on my mind:P n after reading the comments for K’s Hope, God knows only how patient i am being till the 7th. oh n AWESOME cover:) tc:)

    • Hi Hareem! Don’t worry – only 3 more days until you get home, then you can read it! I hope you like it! The reviews so far have been really positive!!! :-) Hang in there!!! Lizzy :-)

      • thanx Lizzy n i can be patient for 3 more days, i guess:P n of course, without a doubt, i WILL like it,LOVE it, actually!

  18. OMG i am loving these books, please keep them coming!! My favourites so far are Katie’s Hellion and Kiera’s Moon. Damian’s Oracle was the first one I read and since then I have been hooked! I didn’t like Damian’s Assain so much, it seemed to flit around too much and Dusty wasn’t really a character that appealed to me too much. I have just read Katie’s Hope and yes it was great as well, although not as well put together as the first book. I’m looking forward to the 3rd. Please keep up the good work, I can see your writing improving with each and every book and am very impressed with your imagination.

    • Thank you, Georgie! Yay! I’ve gotta revise Damian’s Assassin – it didn’t turn out as well as it should’ve, and I released it before I had an editor. :-( I’ve been surprised by how many people liked Kiera’s Moon – I really wasn’t sure how it would go over, since the heroine wasn’t like my others! But I’m really happy you’ve enjoyed them all!! Lizzy :-)

  19. Hi Lizzy…. I read the two books from the rhyn trilogy, Kiera’s moon and Maddy’s oasis i one night and was left wanting more…….
Moving to the Damian series cant wait for march 2012 though …..
    You are amazing !!!!!!!!!!
    Saee

    • Thank you, Saee!! Yay! I’m so happy you’ve enjoyed all the books so far! I have more coming out this year, so don’t worry – you’ll have more books to read before March 2012! Take care! Lizzy :-)

  20. I love it Lizzy!!!!!!!! I slept at 2:30 am just to finish this book. It’s super awesome. I also read The Warlord’s Secret. Can’t wait to read your other books Lizzy! I really enjoyed your book!! You truly have admirable skil in writing.Your imagination is pretty wide isn’t it?

    • Hi Keila! Hahaha … I had to laugh when I saw your note about my imagination being pretty wide. I think the word you mean is probably SUPERHAPPYCRAZY. Haha – and yes, that’s very true. I have movies of stories playing in my head all the time. I’m also an avid dreamer, so I get a lot of ideas from dreams! I’m really happy you enjoyed Kiera’s Moon! My readers have voted this one as being one I have to write a sequel to in 2012, so I shall do so. :-) Lizzy

  22. Hi Lizzy,

I love love love your books.. My favourite is Kieras Moon… You are very gifted… please keep them books coming.. :)

Your #1 Kiwi Fan (ALL the way from NEW ZEALAND)

    • Hi my Kiwi friend! :-) I’m thrilled you liked Kiera’s Moon! You’ll probably be happy to know my readers have demanded a sequel to this one, so I’m writing it next year some time. I was so surprised that this one turned out popular and am very happy about it! :-) I’ll definitely keep writing! Take care! Lizzy

  23. i read ur book..its lovely..very interesting..especially the part when u describe how they KISS..the characters were all very good…
i think u should write more stories..like this..
thanks for writing this one..it was awesome!

    • Hi Ayisha! Thanks for your comments! This will make you happy: I’m writing a sequel to Kiera’s Moon next year! :-) My readers loved this one, and demanded a seqel. So, I shall oblige! :-) I’m happy you enjoyed it! Lizzy :-)

  24. Thank you for this wonderful story! I started it a couple of hours ago and I read it through till the end. I must say I was a little sad when it ended – could have kept reading and reading ;-) I’m sitting in China at the moment and will work here for a year, it’s hard to come by books written in my language or english where I live so I am really grateful that I found a site where I can find literature (it’s even free x3) that suits my taste. I really enjoyed the last couple of ours I spend reading Kiera’s Moon. Thanks! :-)

    • You’re welcome, Jackie! :-) I am going to do a sequel to Kiera’s Moon – my readers have loved that one! :-) Out of curiosity, which site did you find this one on? We post them a million different places, but in all honesty, we have no way of figuring out which places actually have real readers getting the books! Wow – a year in China! You can go sightseeing, and I bet the food is AWESOME!! :-) Lizzy

  25. If you would have read the book, you would have read that in the end all the choices were hers. Also she realizes something about her friend which was a cool part of the ending, not unrealistic considering the annoying role her and Rome-ass play. I believe because of how much the beginning bothered you, you would be one to enjoy this book the most.

  26. I have now read all of your books and LOVED everyone. You are truly talented. I can not wait for the sequel. I soooo hope it is leyon’s story. Hint hint he was so sweet in his stoic warrior way. :)

    • Thanks, Jenifer! Hmmm … I may have to do a book for Leyon, too, or maybe I can work something into the second book where he finds love, too … :-)

  27. Hi Lizzy,
I was just wondering if this was still free to read? I was only able to get to about page 54 and then it said I would have to buy the book if I wanted to continue. Please let me know soon, I LOVE WHAT I’VE READ SO!!

  28. This is the first book I’ve read from you and it is wonderful. The concept and plot is great! A’Ran is great! He is a man to be fantasizes about. Can you suggest books from you like this? I would be grateful, this is absolutely grate! Your ‘Damian’s Oracle’ is the best, though I have read only these two.

    • HI Turja! Hmmm … People love “Katie’s Hellion,” too. It’s as popular as “Damian’s Oracle” among my regular readers. That might be another good one for you!! Lizzy :-)

  29. I Just downloaded this book to my ereader last night before I went to work and I was spellbound by it! I would love it if there was a fallow up about Kiera and A’ran!
Needless to say, its the first book I’ve read by you and I’m going to start on the rest of them! But Still hoping to read more about Kiera and A’Ran too!!!

    • Hi Mary! There WILL be a second book. My readers have demanded it! LOL … “Kiera’s Sun” will be out in June-ish, maybe July. I got a ton of emails/feedback last summer when I released “Kiera’s Moon” demanding a second book, so I fit it into my publishing schedule for this year. I’m so happy you enjoyed it! Lizzy :-)

  30. WOW, I absolutely loved this book. I don’t read much because most books lack luster, but everyonce in a while, someone I know recommends something so I give it a go. I am so glad that I did. I totally agree with a few others that have commented that this book made me want to be there. Your writing style keeps me wanting more, so much so that I still want to hear how A’ran’s sisters were doing, and what about all the new little ones about to be traipsing the galaxy… Or just about A’rans and Kiera’s first night together again. It ended to soon for me, yet I loved every moment reading it!

WOW….. LOVED IT! Your writing sparked hope in me that “maybe” I could be a fan of reading again. I haven’t had that feeling since Jr. High THANK YOU, and I can’t wait to pick up another one of your books.

    • Wow, that means so much to me, Nizroc. I’m so happy I could help you find that spark. Reading is the key to happiness, in my opinion! I don’t do enough of it anymore, but my goal is to start reading more. I’m happy you enjoyed Kiera’s Moon. It ended up being my most popular single-title last year, so I’m writing a sequel this June called “Kiera’s Sun.” :-)

  31. i really loveed kiras moon i loved how she fell for the bad boy instead of a good one

when are you going to come out with a sequel are you going to make one

    • Hi Wing Sing! Yes, there will be a sequel in June called “Kiera’s Sun.” I was surprised how much people liked Kiera’s Moon, so I had to write another!

  32. I loved this book! I couldn’t stop reading it. I wish there was some kind of sequel to their story. Like their people and the Qatwalis working together against their common enemy, the Yirkins. And then for Evelyn and Keira’s friendship to continue… If not, the books is fine on its own.

  33. Lizzy!!! Your books are what I have been looking for everywhere for years now . I mean I came accross kiera’s moon some time back by accident while searching paranormal romance titles and you have a sureshot upperhand :). after i finihed K’s moon i think I went mad lol. I read all your books like a maniac, and waited like crazy for rhyn’s redemption … rhyn triology is my fav :) waiting fr more(would love to see how rhyn handles a daughter and katie :P ) and I loved the Damian series as well. I m waiting impatiently for kiera’s sun and i can beg you to plz plz plz release it soon. I always nthought such books might not be accesible in India as it’s rare to find creative ppl when it comes to writing but you , my frnd, have a die hard fan in me cuz of ur beautiful mind and imagination. Good luck lizzy :)

    • Thank you, Seep! It’s funny you mention that about India – I’m pursuing a few publishers in India right now to help me get my books into the hands of more readers. Indian readers are like, my 3rd largest group of readers, but I have a hard time getting books to them!! I’m hoping that’ll change soon. Fingers crossed! And I’m super happy you love the books! Kiera’s Sun will probably be out in late August … at least, that’s when I hope to release it! Thank you for your comments!! Lizzy :-)

      • i hope to get the books tooo :) well By late august I would go mad with the craving but I guess I can manage :P . But srsly I mean it. U r great !!1 U inspire me to sometimes spill my thoughts about a new world and publish it too but well someday it might happen . But thank you for letting letting me see into ur world :)

  37. Hai Lizzy,

Loved reading Keira’s moon. Your way of writing is different, each image can be layed out in the mind. I have read the e-book more than 10 times within a weeks time.
Has the sequel for Anshan Saga published?

  38. Your site says the Kiera’s Sun will be out in 2013. When do you think that will be? I have read all of your books and check Kindle all the time for new releases.

  39. Loved Kiera’s Moon! The title is what really attracted me to it and the refreshing story left me curious and wanting more. I was wondering two things:

One (the obvious one) when is the sequel coming out or if it already came out did I just miss it (I have horrie eye site)

Two. Do you have any tips for getting started with self publishing? I have accumulated quite a few pages of a book I hope to publish but I don’t quite know how to get it out there. Any suggestions?
