Lizzy Ford’s full length paranormal romance (suitable for young adults) Katie’s Hellion is available for your Kindle, Ipad/iPhone, Nook, Kobo or eReader.

Katie’s having the worst day ever: she’s been dragged down to the police station for abandoning her son, a cute kid with big brown eyes. Only Katie doesn’t have a son. She’s never seen the five year old boy in her life, despite the insistence of the police, her doctor, even her own sister. She thinks she’s gone completely crazy until the five year old living in her house tells her his secret: he’s a baby immortal, and his guardians were supposed to wipe her mind so she’d forget he didn’t belong to her and raise him as hers. But Katie is immune to the power of immortals, and they don’t react well to this discovery. Katie winds up in Hell, where she meets Rhyn, who recognizes her as an immortal’s mate – and his key out of Hell.

Rhyn is a misunderstood immortal, the youngest of the seven Ancients, sentenced to Hell after accidentally almost destroying the world. Katie’s immunity to immortals creates an opportunity for them to escape Hell, so he snatches her and flees. At first, Katie despises the man who treats her like a portable food source, until she finds out he’s the only one willing and able to protect her from the dangers of the immortal world. Rhyn discovers that his little human has heart. With horror, he discovers she’s not destined to be any immortal’s mate- she’s destined to be his mate. He has no idea how to care for someone else let alone control his power, but he must learn, as his little human is endangered by both good and bad immortals determined to use her to their advantage.

  1. I have read and loved all of your books but Katie’s Hellion is by far my favorite. At this point I’ll read anything you care to write.

    • Ha – awesome, because I plan on writing and writing and writing … haha! I’ve got tons of stories. Katie’s Hellion has been almost as popular as D’s Oracle, and the writing is much better for KH. Thank you for reading!!! 🙂

  2. I loved this story!!

I stumbled onto the obooko website by accident and chose to read your story simply because it was the most recent. The next thing I knew it was one o’clock in the morning and I had finished it! It is rare I find a book that I can read in one sitting; I think the main reason I was able to is that you didn’t get too bogged down in her internal monologue, but instead move the story on at a fast pace with lots of exciting twists and turns.

Thank-You for making writing your full-time job, and I cannot wait to read the next installment!!!

    • Alas, writing is not yet my fulltime job. Hopefully in a year or two it will be! I’m happy K’s Hellion could keep you so intrigued. 🙂 This has been a really popular one. I think the strong characters and improved writing (thanks to my lovely editor) helped this one become a home run as soon as I released it! Thanks for your comments!!! Lizzy 🙂

  3. Wow. Words fail me at how amazing this book is. I was hooked on Damien’s Oracle, but this. You outdid yourself, girl. Simply amazing. I loved it from start to finish and I sincerely hope the next month’s book is the sequel to this or else I am going to go into serious withdrawals waiting to know what happens next.

    • Haha – I’m sorry!!! The next one won’t be out until late summer/early fall!!! Hang in there – I’ll write as fast as I can! 🙂

    • Hi Andy! The second book should be ready in Aug/Sep. The third will have to wait until sometime early 2012, unless I get fired from my job and have more time to write. Haha! Lizzy 🙂

    • Woohoo! Glad you found my website! I’m happy you liked K’s Hellion – that one had been really popular. Most of the feedback is that people love Rhyn … lol! I have a novella coming out soon, so drop by the first weekend in July! 🙂 Lizzy

    • Awesome, Kimberlea! I was going to suggest K’s Hellion next! Those readers who loved the Damian series have also really enjoyed Katie’s Hellion. 🙂 The answer to the question you’ll have at the end of K’s Hellion is: late August. Haha … book 2 in this trilogy will be out in late August! Thanks for reading and for taking the time to comment! 🙂 Lizzy

  4. Dear Lizzy Ford,
Thanks a lot for sharing your stories online,
I wanted to know that may I have the honor of translating your Novel into Persian(Farsi) and if so, how can I get your permission?
    Sincerely Yours,

  5. Omg this book is so good I couldn’t put it down. I stay up to finish it. Lizzy you have a great talent for writing a great story. I have read both Damian books and just finished Katie’s first installments and I can not wait till the next book is out! I’m hooked on your book! Sam =)

    • Woohoo – I’m happy you enjoyed the D’s series and K’s Hellion! 🙂 I’m writing as fast as I can … two big releases this fall with the second book in the Rhyn Trilogy and Damian’s Immortal … will be a busy one for me but it’s so exciting!! Lizzy

  6. Absolutely loved the book. Just finished reading it today, cant wait to see if you do another one. Actually please hurry up and carry on with it soon. 🙂

    • Yes, Ma’am, will do! 🙂 I’m writing like a madwoman and am also really excited about book 2. It’s taking shape to be a little bit darker of a book … lots of good ones coming out this fall. Some of my best yet, I think, so I’m excited for about the fall line-up! Lizzy 🙂

  7. wow really nice. i was scheming for novels and before i knew it i was so engrossed in this novel and finished at 2:00 pm. hey lizzy is it complete or os there a second part? if the latter please could you kindly tell me when it will be complete and ready for reading? you’re doing an awesome job 🙂

    • Hello, Wizzy! Thank you!! Yes, there will be a second book out in late August. I’m working on it right now. I don’t have an exact date, but I’m thinking probably the last weekend in August. I try to release on weekends, because it normally takes us 2-3 days to upload the book everywhere, set up its page, etc. So, it’ll likely go to my editor mid-Aug for release around the last weekend … but I’ll probably have a better feel in about 2-3 weeks and can post on my site about it! Lizzy 🙂

  8. Hi Lizzie!

Excellent story … I only got to read upto Chapter 10. Where is the rest of the Story?!
I want to know what happen next to Rhyn and Katie.

    Pls, pls, pls write faster.

    • Hi Yvonne! Haha … ok, I’m writing fast and furious! I’m working on Katie’s Hope this weekend! 🙂 Should be released the last weekend in August. I’ve gotten a lot of similar comments. I didn’t think the ending was that much of a cliffhanger, but apparently, I’ve even made some people mad at me, which really surprised me!! So now, I feel bad! Lol … my solution: write faster! Hahaha! Lizzy 🙂

  9. I just want to thank for writing such an amazing book like Katie’s Hellion. Couldn’t put it away till I finished it. Can’t wait for another…!I’m feeling so exited about this…Thank you!!!

    • You’re welcome, Agne! Not too much longer for the second book! K’s Hellion has been my most popular to date. I think it even beat out Damian’s Oracle last week! Hang in there! Lizzy 🙂

  10. Just read the book coz it was the top in the page but the way it was expressed to be made me think its worth the reading just to find it my favourite..You are farway too good

    • Thank you, Vinas! I’m happy you enjoyed Katie’s Hellion! I’m working on book two this week. And I agree – Rhyn is awesome! He turned in to a very fun character to write! Lizzy 🙂

    • Thank you, Ishu!! I’m glad you’re enjoying the books, and I’m so sorry for keeping you up all night reading them!!!! My imagination has been a blessing and a curse. It’s great for my writing, but I drive people at work (and my husband) crazy sometimes. Haha! My stories so far this year:

      Kiera’s Moon (published 8/2011); Maddy’s Oasis (published 7/2011); Katie’s Hellion (published 5/2011); The Warlord’s Secret (published 4/2011); Damian’s Assassin (published 2/2011); Damian’s Oracle (published 1/2011)

My upcoming stories for this year and their approximate release dates:

      Katie’s Hope (8/27/2011); Damian’s Oracle – revised (9/1/2011); Rebel Heart (9/24/2011); A Demon’s Desire (10/15/2011); Damian’s Assassin – revised (11/19/2011); Damian’s Immortal – (either 12/3 or 12/10/2011)

      • Hi Lizzy,
I couldn’t stop myself from reading all your books..WOW..they are facinating..Such flow of imagination!!!I have finished with Kiera’s Moon ,Maddy’s Oasis , Katie’s Hellion ,The Warlord’s Secret ,Damian’s Oracle. Waiting for more stories from u Liz..:) Write more..:)Gud Luck…:)

        • Hi Ishu! Don’t worry – I’ve got tons more I want to write! Haha … flow of imagination is a nice way of saying I’ve got a wacky mind! Hahahahaha! I’m glad you’ve enjoyed everything! I’ve got a few more coming out this year. Yay! 🙂 Lizzy

  12. loved the Damian books and Katie’s Hellion!!!! I was wondering when the next Katie book comes out and if your going to write another Damian book. 🙂

    • HI Fatna! Katie’s Hope will be out in about two weeks. The third book in the Rhyn Trilogy will be released in March 2012. The third book in the Damian series (Damian’s Immortal) will be released in early December and the fourth and final book in that series released in May 2012. So glad you’ve enjoyed them all! Yay! Lizzy 🙂

  13. Hi lizzy
The book was amazing piece of work. This book was my first parnormal book and trust me u change my mind toward these books. Your book got me paste to the screen from start to finsh.I Love Ryhn! And just waitin for next part

    • Hi Danya! Woohoo! Glad you enjoyed it! This has been everyone’s fav so far, and Rhyn is just awesome. I just love how rough around the edges he is! lol … The sequel will be out at the end of this month! There are tons of good paranormal books out there, and a ton more will be released once we get closer to Halloween. They’re some of my favorites to read and write, because you can take a normal every day world and turn it extraordinary. It seems to put magic back into the world, kind of like when I was litte and believed in unicorns … hahahaha! Lizzy 🙂

  14. I really liked your book and im going to read the others I think u did great and cant wait to read other books u wrote…

    • Thank you, Beverly! I’ll be releasing Katie’s Hope (sequel to Katie’s Hellion) at the end of the month, too, so you’ll have one more to read!! Lizzy 🙂

  15. You cliff hangered me! I was so shocked that I wasn’t going to be able to read more into what Rhyn had up his sleeve to keep Kate around that I protested out loud and startled my dog. I’m an avid reader and was excited to find a new author to add to my collection. You have a way of bringing the reader in to experience your character’s lives along side them without making us overwhelmed. I excited for the next chapter and hope you maybe plan a sequel for Keira’s Moon? I can’t wait to see what’s in store for us with your future novels!

    • Hi Margaret! Haha … sorry about the cliffhanger ending. In my head, the story continued, but I’ve gotten so many comments/emails asking why I ended it there!!! My head is in the clouds – it didn’t even cross my mind people wouldn’t see what happened next like I could! Ha! Total dork … I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed Hellion and Moon! I didn’t plan a sequel for K’s Moon, but people absolutely loved the little world, so I may take everyone back there next year sometime, even if it’s just to tell the tale of another couple or a novella … Lizzy 🙂

  16. Dear Lizzy Ford,
I really loved Katie’s Hellion and can’t wait for the second book! I know from reading comments that the book will be out soon. I was just wondering: will the second and third books be free like the first one? Thanks again for the book!

    • Hi Yvonne! Glad you enjoyed Hellion!! The second book will be free and the third will likely only be free to those people on my mailing list! LIzzy 🙂

  17. Hey lizzy I just finished reading Katie’s Hellion and loved it. I just have one question. When are you going to get the next one out lol. I love all your books and your a wonderful writer

    • Thank you, Jo! 🙂 The next book (not related to the Damian or Rhyn series) should be out in early October. Yay! Lizzy 🙂

  21. I just wanted to say I LOVE LOVE LOVE the first two books in the Rhyn trilogy! I read Maddy’s Oasis a while back and loved it too! I didn’t realize that you wrote both books until today and I appreciate that you are so talented in writing your books in the fact that you can write a contemporary romance and an Immortal romance series so differently! It seems that authors become stuck in a solitary genre and don’t stray to something different! I couldn’t put any of your books down and read Katies Hellion and Katies Hope in a matter of hours! Do you have a release date for Rhyn’s Redemption? I can’t wait to read it and will pay whatever you charge! Keep up the good work and thanks for helping us all escape the pressures of reality, life and bills through your words! 🙂

    • Hi Stephanie! Woohoo – glad you enjoyed all the books! Believe it or not, Maddy’s Oasis didn’t go over well with most of my readers. Haha! I plan on writing more outside the paranormal genre probably later this year. I love writing, and I love writing different things, so I’m always challenging myself. I’m planning on releasing Rhyn’s Redemption 16 March …fingers crossed! We’re moving to Vail next week, so my stuff is everywhere right now Hahahaha!

  22. Hi Lizzy I really love your Rhyn triolgy books so far and I can’t wait for the last book in the series!!
Also I will be starting reading Damians Assassin as soon as I can!! 😀
I love these sort of books and will be looking forward to more like this!

    • Awesome, Jessica! I’m happy you’re enjoying them! 🙂 I love writing these kinds of books – they’re just so much fun, and the characters are all so very neat to create. And torment, which I’m good at doing. Haha!
