    • Hi Mary!

I’m happy you liked it! There will be two more books in the series, but it’ll probably be awhile before they’re ready! In the meantime, I’ll be releasing a free ebook every month, so you’ll have more to read, even if they’re not part of this series!!

  1. Absolutely wonderful. I just read the entire thing. It was much more fluid than the first one. There wasn’t that choppiness of the first one and it was always clear exactly what was happening to who. Very well written. I wish it had been longer I didn’t want it to end. However the ending was extremely intriguing. I am definitely eager to read what happens next.

I know this is nitpicky and I apologize, but I don’t know if you intend on publishing this in hard/paper back but if you do, then you might want to have it proofed. There were several typing and grammatical errors. While for me that didn’t take away from anything in the book, it’s just something to be aware of if you plan on submitting this for publishing.

Again great job. Best of luck to you.

    • Hi Noor!

Thanks for your feedback! Based on the comments/reviews I rec’d, I chopped the daylights out of book 2 and simplified the plot and character interactions to purge the clunkiness and choppiness in the writing that appeared in the first book. I’m SO glad it paid off – I was really worried. Ha! One of the reviewers for the first book told me to keep writing but to fire my editor, which made me laugh. It’s hard to fire someone who works for free, but I think the extra effort on both ends this time really helped!!

You’re not being nitpicky at all. The details are extremely important. I think after smoothing out the plot and tying up loose ends, I end up overlooking the simple things I really shouldn’t! I went through this morning and think I fixed all the spelling issues and most of the grammar ones. I uploaded the new version to Smashwords …

As always, thank you for your comments!!

  2. i really loved the sequel couldn’t put it down even when i was in the salon.
i was sad that it was short.
i have some questions about it and i would like to ask you them but i don’t want to spoil it for other people so i don’t want to post them on here.
could i email them to you?

  3. thank you for the great read! I was eagerly waiting for the sequel and now that it came out I am sooo happy! just couldn’t put it down) and as noor already mentioned, you have greatly improved, the flow of the story is much smoother now which makes it easier to read) I will definitely be waiting for more of your books! keep up the great work!

    • Hi Nata!!

Woohoo – glad you liked it! I’m constantly working to improve my writing, and I’m glad there was a noticeable difference. I’m even happier to receive feedback from you all that my efforts are paying off!!! I greatly appreciate the honest feedback I’ve been receiving!!! I’ll try to post an announcement a couple of weeks in advance about which book is up next, so you know what’s coming!!

      Thanks for reading!!!

      Lizzy 🙂

  4. I was looking for something to read and since the night before last i read entirely through both books… they were fanand somehow came accross these books!!
They pulled me in! I could hardly concentrate on work, i wanted to read it til i was done! I absolutely cant wait to see what happens next!!

    • Hello, Kitten!

Lol … so sorry I distracted you from work!!!! 🙂 I’m really happy you found my books and read them!! Thank you!!!

      Lizzy 🙂

  5. WOW! I read Damian’s Oracle and loved it. Couldnt set it down. Couldnt wait a full 60 second before looking to see if there was another! Very excited to see there is another. Great job. Just sad it was so short!

    • Thanks, Angela!! I’m happy you enjoyed it!! Damian’s Oracle and Damian’s Assassin are undergoing revision by my indie editor, so I’ll re-release the prettified versions at the end of the year! I’m trying to keep books at the 55K-65K level, just so they’re quick reads! Damian’s Assassain was way too short … I’ll work on those aspects, too, as we revise them! Thank you for your feedback, and keep reading Lizzy!!

      Lizzy 🙂

  6. i’m a catalan/spanish native speaker and i couldn’t believe how easy it was to follow both books since at the beginnig i wasn’t really sure i could enjoy them…but then I COULDN’T LEAVE THEM…just to let you know i’m sharing them with an increasing number of friends…Waiting anxiously for the next one!!!;)))

    • That’s awesome, Essie! I never considered how easy these books would be to read for folks whose primary language isn’t English! I’ve always been taught to keep writing as direct as possible, because the most important thing to do with writing is to convey a message. There are times for flowery prose, but when you’re telling a story, you want the story to carry the reader to new worlds. You don’t want the reader to get tangled up in the writing! Woohoo – I’m happy I’m succeeding!! If you liked these two, you’ll probably like my newest one, Katie’s Hellion, too. Lizzy 🙂

  7. I just found both damians Oracle and damians assassin a couple days ago. They were so good I couldn’t put either one down! I figured there would be more in the series based on the ending, but I’m incredibly disappointed to find they aren’t done yet!!!!!

    • Hello, Tirz! I’m happy you enjoyed them! Sorry the third isn’t out yet – I’m working on it, I promise!!! Will release it in December, and the title is “Damian’s Immortal.” I’m also going to re-release the first two books this fall with new covers and completely revised. It’s been a fun, busy year!! Lizzy 🙂

  8. I think both books are great !!!! Nice series and I am glad that there is sexual tension but no actual graphic writing. I guess that would make me a prude. LOL.

    • Then I’m a prude, too, if I write without the graphic content. Haha! I’ve been reading romance for a long time, but I prefer romances where the characters are emphasized over the graphic content. I remember reading my mama’s old yellowed Harlequins when I was younger and thought allowing readers to use their imaginations was more impactful than describing everything. I’ve had great feedback from readers on this – I didn’t realized it was such a gap until I started receiving similar comments! Lizzy 🙂

  9. I absolutely loved both the books. Can’t wait anymore for another sequel. The idea is so very unique and cool. The second book is much smoother -in terms of presentation. I just wish that both the books were longer. Keep spinning such wonderful stories, you are so good at it.

    • Hi Aru! Yes, Damian’s Assassin was a much easier read. I just received the revisions from Damian’s Oracle back from my editor and am working on beating out the rough patches. I’ll re-release Oracle in about a week, and I’ll re-release Assassin in November. Book 3 will be out in December! So happy you’re enjoying them!!! Lizzy 🙂

  10. Absolutely loved both books!!! After I finished the first I immediately downloaded the second from iBook! I’m so happy tht there will be another book!! I cannot wait-as you can tell by how many exclamations I’m using!

No rush-but when is the third book going to be released?
